Founding Attorney

Jennifer A. Grady, Esq. is an attorney, international speaker, and corporate trainer. Ms. Grady founded the law firm of The Grady Firm, P.C. in 2012 with a passion for helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and their families achieve the American Dream. She and her team of attorneys at The Grady Firm, P.C. specialize in business, employment, and immigration law for California companies as their outside legal counsel, and help foreign business owners expand their operations to the United States. The Grady Firm has offices in Newport Beach, California, and serves immigration clients in all 50 US states and around the world.

As an international business and immigration attorney, Ms. Grady teaches entrepreneurs how to open a business in the United States, and has lectured extensively throughout California; Washington, DC; Canada; Chile; El Salvador; and Argentina on contracts, business, and immigration law topics.  She and her colleagues process visas, Green Card, and citizenship applications for employees, investors, and families.

As an employment lawyer, Ms. Grady helps employers become compliant with California employment law, defends corporate clients against wage and hour claims, and assists employers with hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees. She also provides on-site, classroom-style leadership and sexual harassment training in English and Spanish. She has appeared on numerous webinars and podcasts about hot topics in employment law, such as COVID-19, recruiting, and the controversial AB5 law.

 

Some of her professional and student audiences have included the SelectUSA Investment Summit Academy; SelectUSA Canada; Business Rockstars; California Employers Association; California Landscape Contractors Association; Global Entrepreneur Week El Salvador; Remarkable Results Radio; Loyola Law School; USC; UCSD; UCLA; UCIStartup ChileProChile; Entrepreneur Podcast Network; the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs Vancouver; the Automotive Training Institute; Chase Bank; and the Small Business Association (SBA).

 

In 2021, Ms. Grady graduated from the Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders “Streetwise MBA” Program, which helps companies grow, obtain government contracts, hire, and give back to the community.  She perfected her Spanish language fluency while studying abroad at the Complutense University of Madrid.  Ms. Grady is the founder of an annual memorial scholarship at the University of Arizona, and mentor for pre-law students at UCSD.
